BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO

The Goodrich tie story begins with a man by the name of Benjamin Franklin Goodrich.  Dr. Goodrich founded a company in 1870 that has become one of the most recognizable and greatest manufacturers of tires in the entire world.  Since the founding of the company, the brand has showed both the determination and the spirit that is necessary to go beyond the boundaries of performance.  With BF Goodrich tires on your rig, you will be able to take control of any driving situation that you find yourself in.

All Terrain T/A KO

These are the BF Goodrich tires that hold the claim to being the tire that started it all – in terms of all terrain tires that is.  They absolutely set the standard in terms of both off and on road performance.  These tires feature a tread that is made from a dual compound and utilizes what is known as ShoulderLock technology.  They boast shoulder grooves that are 40% wider than what you find on other tires.  This allows for an amount of traction that is increased and even more control in situations where you need to be riding aired down.  The carcass is made from 3 plies of polyester which makes the tread area stiffer than what you might think.  This thicker tread means that you get a steering response that is more precise as well as more control during cornering as well as an incredible resistance to things like bruising and puncturing.

The strategy of BF Goodrich includes the manufacture of their tires in the country where the tires will be used.  In point of fact, most of the BF Goodrich products that are marketed and sold in the US and North America in general are made in any one of the 21 plants that they own and operate in the US, Mexico and Canada.  These plants employ 23,000 employees of a company known as Michelin North America, Inc.  That said, Goodrich IS an international company and as such, there are 74 other plants that are divided between 19 different countries that span the globe.  All that aside, specialty tires and products might be made in smaller quantities in one of the foreign based plants and then shipped in to the States.

That said, no matter what your tire needs are, BF Goodrich makes a solution for you.  You can find their tires at nearly any tire store as well as on internet e-tailers.
